New Chapter for Essex Home

New Chapter for Essex Home
We are extremely pleased to receive planning consent for a new, highly sustainable family home in the village of Theydon Bois. The project involves the demolition of a 1960s house (so we could improve on a fabric first design) on a private cul-de-sac, adjacent to the Green Belt.
The site has stunning views of the Deer Sanctuary beyond. This unique location has inspired a modern interpretation of an H-plan design, maximising the rear of the property to capture the beautiful vistas.
Our client, grew up in the original house and is excited to create a new family home for themselves and future generations. The 6-bedroom new build will be a testament to sustainable living, featuring an all-electric design with Air Source Heat Pumps, Photovoltaic panels, and Sustainable Drainage Systems. The project will provide an overall CO2 reduction of 79%.
Our design seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with traditional materials and detailing – arched aluminium windows, high and vaulted ceilings add elegance and character to the space.
This project marks a new chapter for this family home in Essex, promising a sustainable and luxurious living experience.
