What We Propose

Situated on the junction of Queens Road and Princes Road, this development has the potential to greatly ameliorate the Buckhurst Hill Town Centre. The proposed build replaces a chalet bungalow with six apartments and two commercial units.

Princes Road is a great example of maximising the use of a compact site, much like our former factory site, The Yard.

This new-build is so important because of its status as a car-free development, encouraging future occupiers’ use of sustainable means of travel, due to its proximity to public transport and local amenities. We are particularly excited about this project as we hope it lays the groundwork for a long-term greener approach to development within the district by encouraging other such developments.

Princes Road has been designed to complement its context and material choices were carefully made with this in my mind. Through incorporation of yellow brick, grey slate roof tiles and detailed timber framed windows, the property will have its own identity, whilst sitting amongst older buildings without being a pastiche.
