The prestigious RIBA Journal (May issue) features Clear Architects’ Debden Hall III project.
The RIBA Journal is the trade publication for the Royal Institute of British Architects, reaching 27,600 chartered architects. News of Clear Architects receiving planning permission Debden Hall III – a unique project that is part restoration of a historic manor house and part new-build – is featured in the “Intelligence Planning” section of the publication.
The article states: “There are some real picturesque influences here, with a 372m2 new build neoclassical home on Green Belt land in west Essex being inspired by the 18th century architect Henry Holland and the Capability Brown landscaped gardens that remain on the site – granted permission on a 12:2 vote due to recognition of its ‘exceptional’ architectural merit.”
