Planning Granted for Second Phase of Brownfield Site in Leyton, E10

We are thrilled to gain planning permission on Phase 2 of The Yard, a brownfield site in Leyton. A small and odd-shaped site, we have incorporated the existing walls and ground slab, of both the old factory and substandard rear building to form 3 town houses and 2 quirky 1-beds with mezzanine pods.

The site was vacant and derelict for nearly 20 years until we gained planning permission for Phase 1 (which is currently onsite) and persuaded our client that more could be gained with our vision. Thankfully, they listened and we cannot wait to see it unfold as 2021 evolves into what we hope is a more positive year.

Beyond the clever use of space exhibited by these dwellings, these new homes also contain green roofs and air source heat pumps, a positive impact on the local environment and biodiversity.

Other brownfield opportunities that we have created developments from are Southwell Grove and Princes Road.
