Clear Architects celebrated 10 years in business this year by hosting a party in Shoreditch, East London. Architects, photographers, musicians, artists and clients alike were treated to 10 of the practice’s projects from over the years.
Melanie Clear, founder and practice architect said:
“As little girl aged 14, I enjoyed Graphical Communication and Technology. My careers advisor said to me, ‘I think you might like architecture’ – and so my architectural journey began. It’s not been an easy path, but for me I knew I wanted to be an architect so much, that whatever hurdle was thrown in front of my career I stepped over it and became even more determined to succeed.
I can’t believe I have an architectural practice that is not only 10 years old but has such amazing project both past and present. Architecture is a passion for me. It’s not a job, it’s a vocation. With every project we have ever done, design and detail have been driving factors in creating what we have.
I hope the next 10 years are as creative as the first 10 and we look forward to making the difference in our own unique way. Myself and my team are thrilled you could make it and hope you enjoy the evening.”
2015 has been a very successful year for Clear Architects, as a number of our projects have been shortlisted and commended for national awards, such as the famous RICS Awards. We’re incredibly proud, and enthused for the creative opportunities of 2016!
