Construction Marketing Awards Win for Clear Architects

It has been a stellar year for the London Architects, Clears’ PR & Marketing team, as they were awarded two gongs at last week’s Construction Marketing Awards 2017.

The Construction Marketing Awards (CMA) 2017 are endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Construction Industry Group and are sponsored by prestigious media such as RIBA Journal and Architecture Today, as well as industry federations. The gala dinner was held at Portman Square, London, last Thursday (30 November).

Clear Architects’ PR & Marketing agency, Luminescence, won both of the categories it entered on behalf of the practice – Best Professional Services Marketing Campaign and Best Use of Press & Public Relations – making it the most successful of the night, alongside national brands Reynaers Aluminium and lock specialists Brisant Secure.

This year, Luminescence was also awarded a Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) regional Pride Award for the Best Construction, Property or Infrastructure Campaign, and was a finalist at the national CIPR Excellence Awards for the same category – all for its dedicated work promoting Clear Architects.

Melanie Clear, founder and director of Clear Architects says:

“Luminescence supports the practice to communicate and demonstrate our market leadership with credibility. We have worked with this small but mighty agency since its first year in business. Thanks to them our inspirational designs and projects have appeared in an array of publications including Grand Designs Magazine, The Sunday Times, The RIBA Journal, The Daily Mail, Real Homes and many trade publications.

“The Luminescence team has proven that they understand me and my vision for the practice, helping Clear Architects to be more visible, gain valuable commissions and have a tangible USP over our competitors. Their hard work and determination deserves to be recognised by the industry, so I am thrilled for them.”

The Construction Marketing Awards judges said of the Clear Architects campaign:

“A really hard-working campaign, well thought through and implemented. Imaginative, exacting and with a great sense of drive, energy and context. Achieved excellent results… impressive.”

Luminescence works with Clear Architects as strategic partners across PR & Marketing. They designed and developed the new Clear Architects website, which launched this year. Luminescence enters the Construction Marketing Awards’ Agency League Top 20 at an impressive number 16.

Anna Lawlor, Head of PR & Content at Luminescence, said:

“We were the smallest agency in our categories at the CMAs, so to take home the win against larger, national rivals is hugely rewarding and shows what a force to be reckoned with the Luminescence marketing & PR team really is.

“The construction industry, including professional services such as architects, are frequently a soft target for public ire and criticism, which is often ill-placed and ill-informed. Solid PR can really help the industry’s professionals convey their knowledge, authority and dependability in order to gain consumer trust and grow their business.”
