Clear Architects is proud to announce that we’re practising what we preach at our very own studio, with the addition of a brand-new green sedum roof.
These roofs have numerous direct benefits for the environment, such as improving biodiversity and providing a safe haven for bees and other insects, as well as purifying the air through CO2 absorption, and retaining rainwater, reducing dependency on drainage systems. Additionally, through its ability to regulate building temperature the green roof creates reduced need for artificial heating, they last longer than a traditional roof, and it is a great aesthetic choice too!
A sedum roof is a feature we have regularly included in our builds such as Haven House, Forest View, and Southwell Grove. We are delighted to be joining our clients with this green initiative, and feel enormously proud to have taken this step.
